Apple Rage - Mouse Precision Bug

For those of you who are designers, and often freehand illustrations or art be it in Photoshop, Zbrush, GIMP, or other art applications would agree that being precise down to the pixel is VERY important.

While finally deciding to switch my design and development work over to the Mac OS I immediately noticed how difficult it was to free-hand airbrush, then I started to notice that the mouse would actually 'snap' towards elements of a page such as links. I researched the issue a bit and found this posted in 2005, yet this bug still exists possibly due to bad math.
